From My Lips | Lilac & Lavender Shades

Everyone who knows me knows that my favorite color is purple.  Since spring is upon us I decided to show my all-time favorite lilac & lavender lipsticks.  I know these shades can be very intimidating to women of color especially my deeper tone ladies, but I hope this video will help you in trying some of these shades.   I normally don’t use a lipliner for swatches, but in this case I used Jordana Kohl Kajal Lipliner in deep purple in a few of the lipsticks.  Those lipsticks are just a little too light for me to wear on their own so all I did was just slightly lined my lips and then filled them in with the lipstick for the blended look.  I will specify witch lipsticks I used a liner with, also I didn’t do any lip swatches with the glosses that’s shown in the video below because I don’t wear them on their own just over the lipsticks.
