Delphinium Flower: Eyeshadow Tutorial

This eyeshadow tutorial was inspired by one of my favorite flowers which is called delphinium.  This is also my version of a simple soft way to do a cut crease if your not into the dramatic look with black.  I also decided to do this look in conjunction with my contest that I have open now called "Beauty from the Earth contest".  As always than you for reading & watching =)

e.l.f. Essential Holiday Beauty Eye Books (Smoky Eye): Look 2

This is the second tutorial using this beauty book and really like it.  From the looks of the book it's going from lightest to darkest, being the blues are light, the purples are medium, and the black and grays are the darkest.  You don't have to use this book the way I am, I just wanted to use this book to make smoky looks because it's a smoky book.  Of course you can always make this more suitable for daily wear.  If you have any other request for elf products or anything else let me know.  As always, thanks for reading & watching.

e.l.f. Essential Holiday Beauty Eye Books (Smoky Eye): Look 1

Since working with the glitter eye edition beauty book I decided to get the smoky eye edition.  I believe they have a total of 4 books to the holiday collection and the only 2 that I have is the glitter book and the smoky book.  I really like this book, the colors that I've worked with so far are pigmented and blends very easy.  I don't think that I will be getting the other two books, they look good but I have colors similar to those books.  As always thanks for reading and watching.

NYX Lip Smacking Fun Colors Round Lipstick

I decided to finally try these lipstick, I've been hearing so much about these on YouTube.  Of course since I love purple lipstick I got the purple tones, I did get two neutral colors but other than that all the rest are purple.  I do like these so far, the only problem that I see so far is that these apply much better with a lip brush, for some reason when I apply straight from the tube I think to much is put on the lips.  I will be getting more colors because I really  do like these, they're very pigmented and glossy so, you really don't have to wear a gloss over these if you don't want to.  As always, I swatch these in natural light with no gloss or lip liner.

I also purchases two lip glosses an of course, they're purple; I can't help it.  I really like the L.A. Colors lip gloss in blazing violet, not only does it look great by itself but, it goes perfectly with my mac lipstick on plum bright.  I was wearing my mac lipglass in all my purple life but that is limited edition and I don't want to use that up and this goes so well, it's not a dupe but, it's close enough for me.  I should have got 2 because they're only $2 so, my next order I will defiantly order at least two more.  The Milani Haute Flash full coverage shimmer lip gloss is just that, it's full coverage and very shimmery.  This is the perfect gloss for the girl who's loves shimmer, I don't have a problem with shimmer but, it's something I don't like to wear all the time.  This is defiantly one of those glosses for a special occasion.

e.l.f. Essential Holiday Beauty Eye Books (Glitter): Look 3

This is my 3rd and finial look using the elf beauty book in the glitter eye edition.  I really did like this row because purple is one of my favorite colors and the shadows were decently pigmented, although I did have a little trouble with the lavender color (second shade).  If I would to rate the rows out of the beauty book I would give the top row 2 stars, the middle row 4 stars, and the last row 3 stars.  So, as you can see the middle row is my favorite because it had the best pigmentation and the shadows was very easy to work with, it was just an overall good row of colors.  I feel that this book is work the purchase of $5 but, I would try and get it when it's 50% off.  I don't regret getting this book because it is something different that elf has came out with, all of the shades are glittery and it'd throughout the shadows not just an overlay on top.  The only thing about this book that people may not like is that it has a lot of fallout so, I would suggest doing your eyes first then your face because the fallout is ridiculous.  At first I felt as if my book was defective because when looking at the different reviews people would say how pigmented these colors are but, for some reason my book isn't, now I know that some people have different thoughts on this product that's why I don't really pay to much attention to reviews I just look at them as a guide and that's what I hope you see my review as, just a guide.  As always, thanks for reading and watching.
